Calvary Chapel of Montclair is a multi-cultural Christian church. A typical Calvary Chapel service lasts between 1 1/2 – 2 hours. The nursery is open the entire service, older children are encouraged to attend Kids church which begins right after the music portion of the service. What you’ll experience is a time of spiritual – yet contemporary praise and worship music followed by a verse-by-verse expository teaching of God’s Word. Afterwards feel free to approach Pastor George for prayer and brief one-on-one biblical instruction, or join the congregation as they adjourn to the upstairs fellowship room for conversation, coffee, tea, bagels and other surprises (morning service only). The environment is relaxed and comfortable, dress is casual, but the objectives are clearly to teach and exhort Christians from the scriptures to live a mature, biblical lifestyle that is pleasing to God.
